More than 30 motorcycle racing enthusiasts attended the training session on techniques of motorcycle racing provided by BSBK — a Bahrain based motorcycle academy. The academy is perhaps the first in the GCC region providing basic, intermediate and advanced skills to participants.
BSBK’s inaugural event was on the evening of June 8. The second session was spread across two days, June 15 and 16. The academy’s training camps, conducted at the Bahrain International Circuit, are done in a closed and safe environment.
The courses were led by Hussain AlKooheji, a 5 times Superbike Champion in the Middle East. He is also a world-renowned and certified coach. “Its never too early or too late to start learning and no matter how much you know there is always scope to improve”, said Kooheji. “We have made it a point to make courses available for all types of skill levels and different purposes, serving people who intend to use motorbikes either on or off track.”
The overall aim of the academy is to facilitate and impart affordable and reputed professional motorbike training to everybody, said a release. The BSBK Academy offers a variety of courses at various levels to motorcycle racing aficianados, so they match their present-day skills. The coaching offered, thus benefits every one from beginners to racing professionals or even those who just appreciate riding motorcycles.
