Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, exclusive dealers for Infiniti in the Kingdom of Bahrain held a launch event to unveil the new 2016 Infiniti QX50 in the presence of Mr Fareed Almoayyed, Deputy Chairman, Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons, senior company management, guests and members of the media. This premium crossover features a new fluid appearance that enhances its personality to offer discerning customers a vehicle that reflect not only their lifestyle, but also furthers their high expectations of luxury and elegance.

The QX50 features a major overhaul in exterior design and overall has made some significant improvements, with particular focus on rear legroom. From an exterior design perspective the QX50 has been enhanced for 2016 with a new front and rear bumper and lower front end and rear facia. It combines the look and feel of a luxury coupe and a crossover’s flexibility – with sporty proportions. The exterior has many signature Infiniti touches, including a double-arch grille, large L-shaped headlights, available xenon auto-levelling headlights with Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS), integrated fog lights and distinctive LED taillights.
Significant inroads have also been made on its size. The wheelbase increases by 81mm whilst the overall length has been boosted by 114mm. The result is an increased interior volume by 235 litres as well as increased 2nd row rear legroom by 109mm. This also helps the QX50 rides more smoothly than before, as vehicles with longer wheelbases feel much more stately on the highway. Which all adds up to a much better driving experience.
Reflecting the stylish, dynamic lines of the exterior, the new Infiniti QX50 continues to craft well-appointed and inviting interiors using the highest-quality materials. The driver-focused cabin layout features an Infiniti signature “double-wave” instrument panel, easy-to-read high-contrast gauges and hospitality lighting. The instrument panel also features a 7-inch colour display with Infiniti controller for the trip computer and additional vehicle information, including the available Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System.
The 2016 Infiniti QX50 is being offered with a 3.7-litre V6 engine, rated at 326 horsepower creating an enviable performance. All engines are matched to an advanced 7-speed automatic transmission, which allows for sportier shifts during spirited driving.
The Infiniti QX50 also features a host of technological advancements that include; Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® wireless technology, Advanced Around View® Monitor (AVM) which includes front and rear sonar, 7-inch colour display with Infiniti Controller. Also available is the optional Infiniti Hard Drive Navigation System with a colour touch-screen display that is additionally complimented with the Bose Premium Audio System with 11 speakers.
In short, the 2016 Infiniti QX50 crossover is a vehicle that offers both the driver and passengers an experience that is nothing short of exceptional.
