Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “the Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,” will host its third weekend of exciting Ramadan events, following two consecutive rounds over the last two weekends.
Fans flocked to BIC to watch 53 participants compete at the second round of Burnout Night last weekend. Meanwhile, drivers from across Bahrain and the GCC participated at Drift Night’s opening round that took place earlier this month. Both events have remained popular mainstays on BIC’s events calendar during Ramadan, attracting fans and participants to enjoy themselves at the Sakhir circuit.
The second round of Drift Nights takes place tonight (July 25), while the third round of the Burnout Nights series takes place tomorrow (July 26). Both competitions will be held at car parks four and five, located at BIC’s world-class facilities. The entry fee to participate in either event is BD5. Fans wishing to catch the action up-close can get into a car as a passenger by paying BD2. Registration on both nights gets underway at 8pm and top performers will receive prizes at the end of each night.
Competitors in both events must go through scrutineering before being given the green light to participate. Entrants must have a rear-wheel-drive car and a valid road driver’s licence to be eligible. They and any potential passengers must also be wear suitable footwear, meaning no sandals or slippers. Shorts are also not allowed as the legs must be fully covered. General entrance is free to all on both nights, while those looking for VIP access during Burnout Night can enter for BD10.
